DarkIsle - shortlisted for the Royal Mail Awards for Scottish Children’s Books

I don’t usually plug other people’s books on my site, but this is an exception, not least because I publish it!

DarkIsle is great and I’m really chuffed for Dawn Nelson, the author, that all her hard work has been recognised with this shortlisting. DarkIsle has already been sold around the world and is winning tons of fans. www.darkislethebook.co.uk is the website. And a special plea: if you like it, vote for it! Because these are awards that young readers vote for, not judges. Go to http://www.scottishbooktrust.com/royalmailawards for details. If you’re in Ayrshire, then VOTE FOR YOUR LOCAL DRAGON! - because the dragon on the cover is the hige one in Irvine Beach Par.
